Damaged 7th.jpg

It’s very important for all members to please be mindful of their actions on the golf course considering the amount of labour and love needed to get it to it into optimal plaing conditions.

Unfortunately, a large divot was found on the 7th green (pictured) that could only have occurred due to carelessness. We remind all members they are responsible for both their own conduct and those of their guests and children. The club is investigating to determine how this act of recklessness occurred, which could include a review of playing privileges is necessary.

On the Course

The Husband & Wife Tournament is this Saturday (July 5) with a shotgun start at 10 a.m. Don and Debbie Sutherland won last year’s event. Sign up here.

Junior Lessons are up and running which also means the course is closed on Monday mornings until 11a.m. in July so Chris Hart and his team can care for the course.

Quilt Update

Quilting.jpg

“We have had a good start hand quilting this year's raffle quilt. The first two sessions were at the clubhouse and the plan now is to meet at the Sutherlands on Boyd Lake. If a group of friends would like to have a bee at their home, I can bring the quilt to you.

There will be two drop-in times at the Sutherlands:

  • Thursday, July 3 from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m.

  • Sunday, July 6 from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m.

Please contact me to let me know if you can attend either one of these days or to arrange another day or time. I am very flexible. Remember that all are welcome to participate and no experience is necessary. You can contact me at jtowell1000@gmail.com or at 450.562. 5668 with any questions.” - Jean Sutherland
