  • Did you know that on May 27, 1922, nineteen men and one woman each put in $50 and purchased the land for the golf course?

  • Did you know that the golf course started out as three holes in 1914 when Kit McRobie dropped a golf ball, and expanded to nine holes by 1927?

  • Did you know that the course record for Ladies has not changed since Mary Sutherland shot 36 on August 13, 1984?​

 

  • Did you know that there used to be a phone booth by the starter shack?  Juniors had special rings for their parents to pick them up from the golf club - and save a dime!?

  • Did you know that Marilyn Wynn was the first winner in 1981 of the Raguin Leslie Trophy for Mixed Field Day Medal Play?

  • Did you know that the 2nd hole, Memorial monument was unveiled on July 1,1950 in honour of Garth Fish and those who served in WWII?
