From the Greens

dcc frost.jpeg

With the days getting shorter, starting tee times will be moving to 9 a.m. due to concerns over early frost. If you arrive at the golf course and the grass is covered in frost, please delay the start of your round until it has melted away. Walking on frosted frozen grass will do damage to the grass blades which leave them vulnerable to winter disease and will not leave them time to recover until regrowth in the spring.

The final big clubhouse weekend is approaching with the Car Rally dinner and boat races on Saturday, which is your last available event to contribute to the Greens Crew Tip jar in the Clubhouse. We are very much behind in where we were last year, so if you haven't already contributed, please consider bringing some extra cash to show the crew your appreciation for their great efforts during this extremely difficult past summer.
