On the Course

Terrific news! DCC fairways are about to make a giant leap forward with the acquisition of a “new to us” Toro dedicated ride-on fairway unit. This mower has the cutting units out in front of the operator, making it much easier to follow the same path on the cleanup. This results in remarkably improved definition between the fairway cut and the rough; in short, a much-improved course!
From the Ladies' Branch
We are delighted to announce that Paula Minty has once again offered to lead the DCC Quilt project!
Join this time-honoured tradition, which originated in 1976, to raise money for DCC through the Quilt Raffle. Every year, some 40 to 50 volunteers design, quilt, assemble and sew a unique quilt that is presented for raffle at our DCC Cocktail Party, the signature social event of the season. We are calling on our veteran quilters, and especially welcoming newcomers to this project.
Please sign up here. Further information will be provided this Fall. Please email Paula Minty with any questions.
The minutes of the Ladies’ Branch Closing Meeting are now posted in the Ladies’ Branch section of the DCC website for anyone interested in reading about our activities this season.
